JOHN JARED “J.J.” LARIMORE

John Jared “JJ” Larimore, age 36, of Eatonton, died Friday, January 12, 2019 in a Macon hospital.  A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 14th at 6:00 p.m. in May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel.  Reverend Mike Willard will officiate.

J.J. was born in Baldwin County.  He grew up in Washington County and attended Bethlehem Baptist Church in Warthen.  J.J. was an electrician by trade working for IATSE Union #479.  He was an avid sports fan and participant always wearing number 13. He loved hunting and fishing and living every day.  He had a contagious personality and possessed a great love for his family, especially his kids.  J.J. currently resided in Eatonton and attended Church Central of Eatonton.

Survivors include his wife, Brandi Collis Larimore of Eatonton; children, Kayleigh Ann Larimore, Caydon James Larimore, Hunter Grayson Larimore, and John Bryceson Larimore; parents, Jennifer Parker Hawkins and her husband Glenn of Warthen, Johnny Larimore and Georgia Larimore both of Sandersville; mother-in-law, Jamie Furey and her husband Charles of Newnan; father-in-law, Tim Collis and his wife Jennifer of Eatonton; grandparents, John Larimore, and Franklin and Fannie Hawkins all of Sandersville; siblings, Randi Pool and her husband Jacob of Wrightsville, Spencer Hawkins of Warthen, Mac Larimore of Atlanta, Dylan Steadman of Statesboro, and Destiny Steadman of Sandersville; and mother of Caydon, Jennifer McCall and many nieces and nephews.  J.J. is predeceased by grandparents, Ben and Jackie Parker and Annette “Mama Red” Larimore.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the hour of service at 6:00 p.m. and also following the service at the funeral home.
