Mr. Robert Glenn Hutton, age 84, of Sandersville, died on Saturday, February 16, 2019 in a Dublin hospital following an extended illness. A memorial service for Mr. Hutton will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 19 in May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville.  Reverend Lee Lacey will officiate.  The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 1:00 P.M. Tuesday until the hour of service.

Mr. Hutton was a native of Molene, Illinois   He was retired from the United States Postal Service in Melbourne Florida and was an excellent landscaper in the Melbourne area.  Mr. Hutton was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of Sandersville and the Mens Adult Sunday School Class and also a member of the American Legion.  He was preceded in death by his children, Steve Hutton, Scott Hutton and Sonja Hutton Slayer.

Survivors include his wife, Merita H. Hutton of Sandersville; children, Keith Hutton of Tennessee, Daniel Hutton and Robin Hutton Hoover of Melborne, and David Hutton of Reidsville; step children, Lisa McLendon of Atlanta, Herbert Pinion of Montrose, Lee Ann Toler and her husband Ray of Sandersville, Andy Pinion of Dublin and Nanette Hutton and her husband Dave of Reidsville; twenty one grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.
