Mr. Randy G. Brett, age 61, of Tennille, died Sunday, June 02, 2019 at Wrightsville Manor in Wrightsville. A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 5th at 2:00 p.m. in Zeta Cemetery in Tennille. Reverend Bobby Williford and Reverend Danny Thomas will officiate. Pallbearers will be Chris Williford, Robert Dunn, Tony Williford, Benji Bryan, Chan Sumner and Garyth Everett.
Randy was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Otis Roundtree Brett Sr. and the late Mary Frances Barfield Brett. He worked for many years in the Kaolin Industry for Thiele Kaolin Company as an equipment operator. Randy attended Kendall Heights Church of God and possessed a passion for hunting and fishing. Above all, he adored his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. He is predeceased by his wife, Vicki Dunn Brett, and his sister, Anne Segars.
Survivors are his children, Jason Brett and his wife Holly and Jennifer B. Thigpen and her husband Jonathan all of Tennille; grandchildren, Chan Sumner, Kayden Sumner, Makayla Thigpen, Allie Thigpen and Shanna Grace Thigpen; brothers, Otis Brett Jr. and his wife Donna of Tennille and Dan Brett and his wife JoAnna of Warner Robins.
The family will greet friends on Wednesday from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. prior to the graveside service at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.
