Mr. Wade Brown, 75, died June 15, 2019 at his home in Tennille.  A memorial service honoring his life will be held Tuesday, June 18 at 11:00 A.M. at Tennille Baptist Church with Dr. Brian Welch officiating.  The family will greet friends following the memorial service at the church.  Born the son of the late Linward and Bertha Brett Brown, Wade was a lifetime resident of Washington County.  Brothers, Glen and Russell Brown, predecease him.

Wade was employed in the kaolin industry for 37 years.  He began his career at Georgia Kaolin Company, moving to Dry Branch Kaolin Company and retiring from Imerys as sales manager.  He was a past member of several professional organizations.  Wade’s involvement in sales let to his developing many strong business relationships and personal friendships.

Wade was an outdoor enthusiast, an avid golfer and a longtime member of Twin City Country Club.  He was a faithful member of Tennille Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, a Sunday School teacher and on many committees.  Wade was deeply devoted to his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Kayren Horton Brown; his daughter, Lisa B. Beahm and her husband John of Kingsland; his son, Brett J. Brown and his wife Joy of Sandersville; his precious and beloved grandchildren: Wade Beahm, Eva Brown, and her fiancé, Jake Tanner, David Beahm and Elisa Brown; and brother, Allan Brown and his wife Diane of Newnan.  He is also survived by special friends, Frank and Lynda Garbutt, and many other wonderful and supportive friends.

The family wishes to express its gratitude to Encompass Home Health and Pruitt Hospice for the compassionate care of their loved one.
