JACQUELYN FRAZIER “JACKIE” BROWN

Mrs. Jacquelyn Frazier “Jackie” Brown, age 75, of Warthen, died Wednesday, September 18, 2019 in a Macon Hospital following an extended illness.  A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 22nd at 3:00 p.m. at Balerma Baptist Church with burial at Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Jerry Bradley, Reverend Chris Carpenter and Reverend Tim Powell will officiate. Pallbearers will be Chris Brown, Tony Brown, Pat Brown, Russ Brown, Timmy Brown, Shawn Veal, Trey Veal and Charles Brown.  Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Balerma Baptist Church.

Mrs. Brown was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late Charles Haskel “Jack” Frazier and the late Gertrude Hawkins “Gert” Frazier.  She was a loving homemaker and formerly worked for the Washington County Stock Yard, as well as the Washington County Credit Bureau.  She was a long-time active member of Balerma Baptist Church where she loved working with the youth and the youth choir along with Paula Swint.  Mrs. Brown possessed a love for growing flowers and preparing arrangements for her church, home and friends.  Cooking, birdwatching and dancing were some of her favorite hobbies.

Survivors include her husband R.D. Brown; sons, Charles Christopher “Chris” Brown, Sr., and his wife Taunia of Warthen, Anthony Glenn “Tony” Brown and his wife Dawn of Douglasville, Stephen Patrick “Pat” Brown and his wife DeAnna, Russell Dallas “Russ” Brown and his wife Jennifer and Timothy Wray “Timmy” Brown and his wife Amy all of Warthen; grandchildren, Charles Brown Jr., Raisha Howell, Dylan Fiveash, Robbie Fiveash, Madison Brown, Maci Brown, Heather Marie Black, Kathryn Rainey, Kasie Tanner, Baylee Brown, Ryder Brown, Sadie Brown, Zeke Brow; eight great grandchildren; and nieces, Sherry Veal and her husband Larry and Peggy Sue Veal.

The family will be at the Brown residence on Centralia-Rachels Road, Warthen and they will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.
