Mrs. Sallie B. Swint, Tennille, Georgia passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at the University Hospital, Augusta, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Firebrand Central Church with Bishop Ceather Hall officiating. Interment was held at Dixon Grove Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the service. The address to the church is 1430 Highway 15 North, Sandersville, GA, 31082.
She was born December 5, 1931 in Washington County, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Manson Bell, Sr. and the late Mrs. Jannie Bell. On April 5, 1949, she married the late Mr. Ennis Swint, Sr. This union was blessed with ten children. She enjoyed growing flowers, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sons: Mr. Ennis Swint, Jr. and Mr. Samuel Swint.
Mrs. Swint will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memories, six daughters: Mrs. Sally Lou (William) Brown, Ms. Denise Swint, Mrs. Brenda Brooks, Tennille, Georgia, Mrs. Melvia Johnson, Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. Betty Malone, Macon, Georgia, Mrs. Evelyn (Ceather) Hall, Warthen, Georgia; two sons: Mr. Bobby Swint, Mr. Marion (Lorianne) Swint, Tennille, Georgia; one brother: Mr. Sam (Ola Mae) Bell, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; one daughter-in-law: Mrs. Wonda Swint; three sisters-in-law: Mrs. Rosa Bell, Warren, Ohio, Mrs. Annie J. Bell, Mrs. Eula Mae Bell, Tennille, Georgia; twenty eight (28) grandchildren; forty seven (47) great grandchildren; seven (7) great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
