Mrs. Ann Pittman Davis, age 87, of Tennille died on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Washington County Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 14 at Sandersville United Methodist Church.  Reverend Stan Littleton, Reverend Mike McAfee and Elder Kenneth Brantley will officiate.  Burial will be private for family only.  Pallbearers will be Wes McAteer, Sandy Mercer, Johnnie Davis, John Moore, Sonny Barksdale, Joel Tillerson, Eric Tillerson, Dave Hammock and E. K. May.

Mrs. Davis was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late Haywood Wesley Pittman and the late Mattie Bell Walters Pittman.  She was the wife of the late Grady E. “Buddy” Davis and was preceded in death by a brother, Talmadge Pittman.  Mrs. Davis was a retired employee of Champion Papers and Fibers Company as well as Georgia Kaolin and she was a wonderful homemaker.  She was an active member of Sandersville United Methodist Church holding many leadership roles in the church most notably serving as lay delegate to annual conference for many years. In retirement, Mrs. Davis was a passionate and dedicated volunteer at the United Methodist Home in Macon.

Survivors include a daughter, Lynda Davis of Macon; sister, Del Rey Pittman Humphrys of Atlanta; brothers, Wesley Pittman of Milledgeville and Billy Pittman of Sandersville.

The family will receive friends in the Heritage room of Sandersville United Methodist Church on Friday from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service.
