Sandersville Animal Control is advising pet owners to bring their pets indoors over the course of the Independence Day holiday weekend. Animal Control shares this insightful tip due to the unfortunate amount of pets that are lost each year when becoming frightened during firework displays and fleeing their homes.
Officials are expecting fireworks to be showcased throughout the course of the July 4th weekend, and encourage pet owners to take the necessary steps to ensure pet safety.
