Mr. Mario Chatman departed this life on Sunday, July 5, 2020 in Barnesville, Georgia. Graveside services were held on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Second Mineral Spring Baptist Church, Warthen, Georgia with Rev. Robert Smith officiating.

Mario was born on March 15, 1989 to the parentage of Mrs. Bobbie Jean Jones Chatman and the late Mr. Nathan Chatman, Sr. in Burke County, GA.At an early age he joined Second Mineral Springs Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Deacon Ministry. He was a 2007 graduate of Washington County High School.

Mario was a former correctional officer at Hancock State Prison. However, his favorite passion was to be a truck driver. He later attended Sandersville Technical College where he received his Commercial Drivers License. He was currently employed with Davis Trucking out of Atlanta, GA. Besides being a truck driver, his other passion was being his own mechanic.

He was preceded in death by two sisters: Dorothy and Bertha; three brothers: David, Nathan, Jr. and Julian; grandparents, numerous aunts and uncles.

Mr. Chatman leaves to cherish his memory his wife: Mrs. Kirsten Banks Chatman, Barnesville, GA; love of his life, his daughter: Miss Skylar Chatman, Barnesville, GA; mother: Mrs. Bobbie J. Chatman, Warthen, GA; sister: Ms. Shenique Jones, Warthen, GA; three brothers: Mr. Amos Chatman, Mr. Clifford Chatman, Mr. Henry Chatman, Sparta, GA; one aunt: Ms. Willie M. Lurry, Cairo, GA; three uncles: Mr. Tommie Jones, Warthen, GA, Mr. Edward Jones, Mr. Marvin Chatman, Sparta, GA; one great aunt: Ms. Inell Tucker, Sanford, NC; one great uncle: Mr. David Neal, Sanford, NC; devoted niece: Ms. Kuaansuela Chatman, Albany, GA; devoted friend: Mr. Keontae Brown, Barnesville, GA; a host of other relatives and friends.
