JOHNNY LEE JORDAN

Mr. Johnny Lee Jordan, Sandersville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020 at his residence. Graveside services were held privately by the family.

Mr. Jordan was born and raised in Tennille, GA. He was born on February 22, 1952 to the parentage of the late Mrs. Martha Haynes Jordan and the late Mr. Ruben Jordan, Jr.Mr. Jordan started his early childhood education at D.D. Crawford Elementary School in Tennille, GA. He graduated in 1970 from T.J. Elder High School in Sandersville, GA. He attended Albany State College in Albany, GA.

He retired from Burgess Pigment Kaolin Company in Sandersville in 2007, where he dedicated thirty four (34) years of service to the company. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. Johnny and his wife Addie, were married for almost forty six (46) years. To this union a son was born, Eric Van Jordan, his buddy. Mr. Jordan enjoyed his family and friends. He often left an impression upon whoever he would meet. He hardly minced words to get his point across. Good friends were always friends to him to the very end.

He was preceded in death by his sister: Ms. Barbara Jean Jordan.

Mr. Jordan leaves to mourn his passing, his wife: Mrs. Addie C. Jordan, Sandersville, GA, son: Mr. Eric Van Jordan, Sandersville, GA; brothers: Mr. Charles (Jeanette) Jordan, Mr. Larry Jordan, Milledgeville, GA, Mr. Ruben Jordan, Macon, GA, Mr. Tommy (Marilyn) Jordan, Douglas, GA, Mr. Jimmy Futrell, Gray, GA; sisters-in-law: Mrs. Sandra Jordan, Milledgeville, GA, Mrs. Rosetta C. Smith, Sandersville, GA; brothers-in-law: Mr. Bennie Cullens, Mr. James L. Cullens, Sandersville, GA; aunts: Mrs. Mary Johnson, Tennille, GA, Mrs. Ola Bell Jordan Wiggins, Davisboro, GA, Mrs. Mary Will Pickett, Bridgeton, NJ; uncle: Mr. Lewis Haynes, Tennille, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
