Sam (Sammie) Cooper, age 88, of Harrison, Georgia passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020. On November 20, 1931 he was born to late Sam and Alberta Cooper in Davisboro, Georgia.
Sam, also known as Sammie, worked in the farming industry most of his life. He was married to the Mary Lizzie Cooper who preceded him in death and to this union, there were seven children.
He was also preceded in death by four sons: Willie Albert Cooper, Ronald Cooper, Tommy Lee Cooper and Jerome Cooper; and one grandchild: Kevin LaChristian Jackson.
Sam is survived by two sons: Bobby (LeKetha) Cooper, Ricky (Sharon) Cooper and one daughter: Connie Jean (Arthur Lee) Henderson; twelve (12) grandchildren: Kimberly LaCrystal Cooper, Kendall Jackson, Sr., Kalvin L. Henderson, Arthur L. Henderson, Jr., Tamika Warthen, Willie L. Cooper, Javen Rogers, Ricky S. Cooper, Rickardo Cooper, Rictavouis Cooper, Christopher Cooper and Deontinee Dent; four great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
