
The upcoming Brentwood War Eagles football game versus Trinity Christian School in Dublin has been officially postponed. Friday night’s contest was originally scheduled for October 9.
Brentwood and Trinity have agreed to terms on rescheduling the game for Friday, November 13. This date was previously an open week on the football schedule for each school.
The War Eagles currently hold a 3 win, 1 loss record in the 2020 season with three consecutive wins in the most recent three weeks. Brentwood has outscored rivals Briarwood, Edmund Burke, and defending GISA A Champion Thomas Jefferson by an average score of 42-6. Their potent team rushing attack has averaged 313 yards per game over the span.
Brentwood and Trinity have faced off 20 times since their initial football match-up in 1996. They have split the series with 10 wins each. The War Eagles snapped a 7 game losing skid versus the Trinity Crusaders last year in a 31-0 rout.
The next game on the Brentwood schedule is a trip to GISA AAA opponent August Preparatory Day School on Friday, October 16.
