The following information are unofficial and incomplete election results from Washington County in the Tuesday, November 3 General & Special Election.

9,445 voters, or 72.7 percent, of active Washington County voters participated.

In Washington County, Democratic candidate Joseph R. Biden defeated Incumbent Republican candidate Donald J. Trump for President of the United States by 63 votes.

For U.S. Senate, Republican candidate David A. Perdue prevailed.

The candidates receiving the highest number of votes in the Special Election for U.S. Senate in Washington County were Raphael Warnock, Kelly Loeffler, and Doug Collins.

In the race for U.S. House District 10, Incumbent Republican candidate Jody Hice defeated Democratic candidate Tabitha Johnson-Greene by 14 votes in Washington County.

For the City of Tennille’s Special Election, Rhonda Lemons and Deborah Rhodes won the two vacant City Council seats.

  1. Authorizes dedication of fees and taxes to their intended purposes by general state law. House Resolution 164, Act No. 597. “Shall the Constitution of Georgia be amended so as to authorize the General Assembly to dedicate revenues derived from fees or taxes to the public purpose for which such fees or taxes were intended?”  Yes: 6,183 votes; No: 2,324 votes
  2. Waives State and Local Sovereign immunity for violation of state laws, state and federal constitutions. House Resolution 1023, Act No. 596. ““Shall the Constitution of Georgia be amended to waive sovereign immunity and allow the people of Georgia to petition the superior court for relief from governmental acts done outside the scope of lawful authority or which violate the laws of this state, the Constitution of Georgia, or the Constitution of the United States?” Yes: 5,551 votes; No: 2,800 votes

The Statewide Referendum concerning the establishment of a tax exemption for certain real property owned by charities. This is from House Bill 344, Act No. 149.
