Ms. Frances Cannida passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 in Augusta, Georgia. Memorial services were held via Zoom on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 11:00 A.M.
Ms. Cannida was born on March 8, 1952 to the late Mr. Otis ‘Son’ Cannida and the late Mrs. Marie ‘Pie’ Cannida. She spent most of her life in Atlanta, Georgia, but returned to her hometown of Sandersville in 2004, where she was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Ms. Cannida is preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Wright and three brothers, Thomas Cannida, Vincent Cannida, and Marion Cannida.
She is survived by two daughters, Adriane (Yakouba) Keita, Lithonia and LaShonda Cannida, Tennille ; three grandchildren, Donovan Cannida, Raleigh, North Carolina and FaDima Keita and Yakouba Keita II, Lithonia; one great grandchild, Sarai Johnson, McDonough; five sisters, Annie M. Lawson and Ms. Sarah C. Hudson, Tennille, Mrs. Ethelean C. Dixon, Mrs. Phyllis (Gregory) Harmon, and Mrs. Lynda (Lemuel) White, Sandersville; two brothers, Mr. Willie (Kathleen) Cannida, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Mr. Willie Frank Cannida, Tennille; two aunts, Ms. Trudie ‘Molly’ Hall, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Ms. Magnolia Cannida, St. Petersburg, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
