Mrs. Annie Dixon Williams peacefully transitioned from this world at her residence on Saturday, March 6, 2021. Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Henderson Grove AME Church. Bishop Clifford Duckworth will officiate.

Mrs. Annie Dixon Williams was born May 30, 1933 in Washington County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Willie Sutton and the late Mrs. Elnora Scott Richardson. At an early age, she joined the Henderson Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church. She was a faithful member until her health failed. She served on the Usher Board, Missionary Board, and Choir. She was joined in matrimony to the late Mr. Linton Williams. She retired from Royal Manufacturing Company after 29 years of service.

Mrs. Williams leaves to cherish her memories, a devoted daughter, Mrs. Annette (James) Adams; a devoted son, Mr. Larry Dixon; brother, Mr. Bobby Scott; three nephews that she raised, Mr. Thomas (Vivian) Wilcher, Mr. Donald (Patricia) Wilcher, and Mr. Calvin (Mattie) Duckworth; three grandchildren, Mrs. Jennifer (Chris) Duckworth, Mr. James (Britney) Adams, and Mr. Demetrius Adams; five great-grandchildren, J’Khristan Duckworth, Jordyn Duckworth, Jade Duckworth, Jamir Duckworth, and Drew Adams; a god daughter, Mrs. Aimeltha Locke; a host of nieces and nephews, including, Mr. Jeffrey Wilcher, Mr. Galin Wilcher, Ms. Janet Duckworth; and extended family, the Cannida family and Mrs. Mary Ann Fluellen.
