Mr. Johnny L. Middlebrooks passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Smith Medical Nursing Care Center. Graveside funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Elder Clifford Coleman, Sr., officiating.
Mr. Middlebrooks was born on March 1, 1956 to the parentage of the late Mr. David L. Middlebrooks and the late Mrs. Selloma Middlebrooks. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Ms. Vivian Middlebrooks, Ms. Dorothy Mae Cannon, Mrs. Annie Pearl Daniels, Mrs. Naomi Eagle, Ms. Ellene Ivey, Ms. Emma Hodges, Mr. David Middlebrooks, Mr. James Middlebrooks, Mr. Columbus Middlebrooks, Mr. Jamie Middlebrooks, Mr. Eugene Middlebrooks, Mr. Alton Middlebrooks, Mr. Willie Middlebrooks, and Mr. Leo Middlebrooks.
Mr. Middlebrooks leaves to cherish his memory, three children, Mrs. Sonya (Eric) Spikes, Sandersville, Mr. Jonathan (April) Johnson, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Ms. Gwendolyn Middlebrooks, San Diego, California; six sisters, Mrs. Virgie (Herman) Collins, Sandersville, Mrs. Eleanor (Roosevelt) Dell, Sandersville, Mrs. Elizabeth (Michael) Haynes, Sandersville, Mrs. Mary (Booker T) Coleman, Tennille, Ms. Shirley Dill, Atlanta, and Ms. Yvonne McClendon, Augusta; two brothers, Mr. Randolph (Iris) Middlebrooks, Hephzibah and Mr. Alvin Middlebrooks, Cleveland, Ohio; four grandchildren, Mr. Tyrik Spikes, Mr. Jalen Spikes, Ms. London Johnson, and Ms. Lalah Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
