Mr. Ned Jordan passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at a local hospital. Graveside funeral services were held on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Camp Spring Baptist Church with Reverend Darrell
Mitchell officiating.

Mr, Jordan was born on July 25, 1930 to the parentage of the late Mr. Adam Jordan and the late Ms. Effie Grier. Ned worked at H.L. McCaskill Construction Company for many years. Following their closure, he worked at Burgess Pigment Company for nearly thirty years. He loved to fish and watch the Atlanta Falcons and Braves. His favorite baseball player was Reggie Jackson. He enjoyed watching “The Jeffersons,” “Sanford and Son,” “Martin,” and “Dr. Phil.” He especially loved Redd Foxx, as well as Bob Barker and The Price is Right.

Mr. Jordan leaves cherished memories to his loving wife of sixty-two years, Mrs. Jessie Rene Jordan, Harrison; seven children, Mr. Willie James Warthen, Sr., Mr. Stewart Jordan, Ms. Annie Jordan, all of Harrison, Mr. Nelson (Veronica) Jordan, Mr. Walter (Geneva) Jordan, Mrs. Janice (Roger) Owens, all of Tennille, and Mrs. Carol (Roger) Wimbley, Wrightsville; four sisters, Mrs. Eleva (Henton) Taylor, Riddleville, Ms. Emma Louise Macklin, Tennille, Ms. Sharon Hutchings, Gray, and Ms. Annie Laura Smith, Saluda, South Carolina; mother-in-law, Ms. Mabell Dixon, Sandersville; eight sisters-in-law, Ms. Lucile Oatman, Warrenton, Ms. Mary Julia Warthen, Thomson, Ms. Betty White, Ms. Mabel Brown, and Ms. Louise Swint, Sandersville, Ms. Pearlie White, Grovetown, Ms. Louvenia Johnson, Hinesville, and Mrs. Betty Mae (Alex) Scott, Louisville; seven brothers-in-law, Mr. Napolean Warthen, Jr., Harrison, Mr. Levi (Bernestine) White, III, Jacksonville, Florida, Mr. Richard (Helen) White, Milledgeville, Mr. Ralph (Renee) Warthen, Shelby, North Carolina, Mr. Jesse Lee Warthen, Augusta, Mr. Sylvester Neal, Macon, and Mr. Dean Salter, Sandersville; devoted grandchild, Mr. Tyrone Jordan, Harrison; seven grandchildren, Mr. Jeremiah Warthen, Poughkeepsie, New York, Mr. Willie James Warthen and Ms. Sherlonda Wimbley, Tennille, Ms. Cassandra Wimbley, Mr. Walter Jermaine Jordan, and Mr. Keldrick Jordan, all of Wrightsville, and Mr. Roderick Wimbley, Sandersville; six great-grandchildren;and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
