The Inaugural Holly Jolly Trot for Tots 5K, in memory of Heather Frazier, will take place this Saturday, December 4.

Heather Frazier, who passed away unexpectedly earlier this year, loved the Christmas season, and spent much of her time ensuring that all children in Washington County received gifts during Christmas.

All proceeds from the Holly Jolly Trot for Tots 5K will be donated to First Love Kids and the Washington County Empty Stocking Fund through Heather’s Christmas fund, an account at Citizens Bank of the South in Sandersville.

Heather Frazier enjoyed decorating for the holidays, the gift of giving, as well as the joys of sharing the true meaning of Christmas with others.

The Holly Jolly Trot for Tots 5K will start and finish at Brentwood School located at 725 Linton Road in Sandersville. All ages and abilities are encouraged to participate.

The Holly Jolly Trot for Tots 5K is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, December 4; participants are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to the race time. A one-mile walk will also take place during this event.

The first, second, and third place runners (overall) will receive a reward; a special gift will be presented for the runner/walker who is most festive or wears the most best Christmas attire, as judged by Heather Frazier’s family.
