Santa Claus will be coming to Tennille this weekend. He’s making a list; he’s checking it twice. He’s going to find out who’s naughty or nice!
The Christmas at the Depot festivities begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 11 in downtown Tennille.
Santa Claus will make his way from the North Pole to the Tennille Depot where he will hear the requests of children of all ages. Santa Claus will arrive around 5 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
In addition to that special meeting with Santa Claus, this event will serve as a great way for people to do a little Christmas shopping. The stores and restaurants in downtown Tennille will be open throughout the event to encourage people to “Shop Local.” The retail shops and the restaurants will feature a variety of specials throughout the magical evening.
Also, numerous vendors will be present during Christmas at the Depot with a variety of potential gift ideas for the holiday season.
While shopping at local stores or with vendors, enjoying a delicious bite to eat, and/or waiting to visit with Santa Claus, those in attendance will enjoy the sounds of Christmas from live performances featuring local talent.
