Mrs. Anita Williams, affectionately known as “Skip,” passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon. Graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, at 2:00 P.M. in the Marshall Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Henry L. Tanner will officiate.
Mrs. Williams was born on December 31, 1963, to the late Ms. Geraldine Williams, the oldest of two children. She enjoyed to dance. Skip possessed a joyful demeanor. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her devoted partner, Mr. Danford Lee Jordan, Sr.; and aunt, Mrs. Evelyn “Bet” Braddy.
Survivors include her daughter, Arnitrius Hurst and husband Konnoshia; sons, Demetrius Hurst and wife Shaerlona and Danford Jordan and wife Brittany; sister, Barbara Mae Williams; grandchildren, N’kayla Breshay Hurst, Quavion Brenard Hurst, A’Riyia Shantrell Hurst, Dashton Xzavier Jordan, and Jalayah Tillman; devoted uncle, Tommy Lee Williams, Sr.; nephew, John Wesley Kitchens; special friends, Mrs. Arleene Canty, Jeannette Burnett, Willie Mae Dixon, Martha Foster, and Mona Henderson; god daughters, Sandreka Henderson and Sabrina Dixon; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
