A man has died following a single-vehicle accident on Sunday night.
The crash occurred just before 8:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Walker Dairy Road south of Warthen.
According to Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran, preliminary investigations indicated that the driver lost control of the vehicle. He would be ejected from the car as it flipped and rolled over.
The Washington County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 40-year-old Steve Gladdin of Warthen. The family was notified prior to the release of his identity.
Gladdin was the only individual in the car during the single-vehicle accident.
The Sheriff’s Office notified the Georgia State Patrol for further investigation.
