
Thomas “Tommy” Miller passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at the Washington County Regional Medical Center of Sandersville. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 17 at 2:30 p.m. in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Warthen. Reverend Corian Roberson will officiate.
Mr. Miller was born on February 6, 1975 in Augusta to the late Leroy Miller, Sr. and Jessie Mae Miller. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church of Warthen, serving as an Usher. Tommy enjoyed watching “Criminal Minds” and walking around the neighborhood. Mr Miller was known for his “famous cooked coon” that he served each Thanksgiving. He will be remembered for his overwhelming willingness to help always assist others.
Survivors include his children, Rayshawn Monroe, Shawn Monroe, and Aaliyah Miller; granddaughter, Avayah Fisher; mother, Jessie Mae Miller; siblings, Leroy Miller, Jr. and wife Ada, Keisha Walker and husband Robert, Angelia Cummings and husband Jeffery, and Shiki Etha Miller and husband Ronnie: grandmother, Carrie Bell Boss; uncles, Joe B. Giles and wife Sharon, Pardis Boss, Johnny Miller and wife Hattie Pearl, Willie Oscar Boss, Issac Boss, Jr.; aunts, Annie Pearl Reeves, Rosanna Danzy and husband Carlton, Pearline Wiley and husband Marion; nephews, Randy Hatcher Jr., Stanley Huggins Jr., Quanterius Watts, Justin Cummings, Tyler Miller, Christopher Cummings, Matthew Cummings, Devonte Miller, Jaylen King, and Justin King.
