Mr. Joseph Carl” Joey” Armour, age 51, of Warthen, died at his residence on Monday, March 9, 2020 following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 12 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Warthen with burial in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Anthony Baker will officiate. Pallbearers will be Aaron Archer, Chad Collins, Tommy Brown, Thomas Brown, T. J. Taylor, Zell Robinson, Vern Perry and Rodney Waller.

Mr. Armour was a native of Wilkes County, Georgia but had lived in Washington County for many years. He was the son of the late Victor Brown, Jr. He was a welder and fabricator. Mr. Armour was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Survivors are his daughters, Ashley Archer and her husband Aaron of Warthen, Casey Brooks and her husband Tom and Sabrina Nolan and her husband Michael both of Sandersville; his mother, Carolyn Howard Brown of Warthen; grandchildren, Faith Archer, Mitch Archer, Hudson Archer, Connor McCoy, Dalton McCoy, Gracie Brooks, Bradley Brooks, Philip Evans, Sage Nolan and Trinity Nolan; sisters, Vicki Collins and her husband Chad of Warthen and Tonya McNure of Sandersville; and brother, Henry Armour and his wife Dana of Warthen.

The family will receive friends at Bethlehem Baptist Church from 1:00 P.M. on Thursday until the hour of service.

The family suggest donations be made to the Armour Family Fund, P. O. Box 1016, Sandersville, Georgia 31082.
