Sheila James Andrews departed this life on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the Augusta University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11 a.m. in the Sandersville City Cemetery. Pastor Mack Jackson will officiate. She was born on December 29, 1964 at the Washington County Regional Medical Center in Sandersville, Georgia to Ms. Louis Robinson and the late Mr. Robert Lee James.
She worked as an LPN for many years. She had a heart for helping others. She was always readily available to provide advice about medicine and natural remedies to family and friend. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She loved the word of God and attended St James Christian Fellowship Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee James of Sandersville, Georgia; two brothers: Gary James of Sandersville, Georgia and Tracy James of Sandersville, Georgia.
Sheila leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Leroy Andrews Jr., Sandersville, Georgia; her mother, Ms. Louis Robinson Toomsboro, Georgia; two children: Andrea Lassiter (Jeremy) of Lynchburg, Virginia and Cassandra Andrews of Lynchburg, Virginia; four sisters: Polly Harris (Ronald Sr.) of Davisboro, Georgia, Elizabeth White Sandersville, Georgia; Arnita Wiley Sandersville Georgia, China Cheely of Hephzibah, Georgia; two brothers: Daren James of Warner Robins, Georgia, Antonio Jones (Marilyn) of Fayetteville, Georgia; two grandchildren: Logan Lassiter and Averie Lassiter of Lynchburg, Virginia; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
