Mr. Kelvin B. Prosser, affectionately known as “Choo”, Tennille, Georgia, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at the Augusta University Medical Center in Augusta. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Saint James Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Mack Jackson officiating.

Mr. Kelvin Bernard Prosser was born on July 18, 1962 to Ms. Betty Prosser Harris. Mr. Prosser was a graduate of Washington County High School, Class of 1980, where he was an football star. At an early age, Kelvin was baptized at the Bold Spring Baptist Church. He worked at Engelhard Chalk Plant for fifteen (15) years. After working several other jobs, he began driving trucks. His passion was cars, trucks, bikes, and rims. Kelvin was an entrepreneur. He was the owner of Prestige Mobile Car Wash and Detailing, with the motto, “nothing rides better than a clean vehicle.” Every car he owned and sold was sparkling clean.

“Choo” had an amazing personality. The fun did not begin until he arrived. When in his presence, it would not take long to buy into whatever he was selling because his gift for gab immersed those in the pure joy of laughter or emptying pockets for whatever he was selling. He was a phenomenal dresser, always with a crease in his pants and his cologne leaving a lingering smell in the room. Kelvin’s presence made a difference and his final departure did as well. His life ended on Friday, March 19, 2021 when God called him home.

His memories will be cherished by his four children, Mr. Ahmad Rashad (Carmen) Prosser, San Antonio , Texas, Mrs. Ashley (Lorenzo) Prosser-Brown, McDonough, Mr. Vaneilus (Estachia) Marquez Prosser, Augusta, and Mr. Brandon Deanard Prosser, Atlanta; mother, Ms. Betty Prosser Harris, Tennille; grandmother, Mrs. Lelia Mae Norris, Tennille; stepfather, Mr. B.
