Ms. Mindy Johnson passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. Graveside funeral services were held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Woodlawn Cemetery with Reverend Henry L. Tanner officiating.
Ms. Johnson was born on February 24, 1980 in Ft. Ord, California to the parentage of Mr. Ralph Johnson and the late Mrs. Connie Jean Johnson. She attended the public schools of DeKalb County, Georgia. Mindy was a member of the Girl Scouts of America and the McNair High School Band, where she played clarinet. She was a member of Mt. Zion Second Baptist Church of Atlanta.
Ms. Johnson leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Mr. Marqavius Jermain Johnson; one daughter, Ms. Markecia Denise Johnson; devoted father, Mr. Ralph Johnson, Jr.; one brother, Mr. Jermain Johnson; four aunts, Mrs. Edith Mills, Mrs. Rose (Smokey) Swainer, Ms. Lenora Johnson, and Mrs. Nina Hodges; four uncles, Mr. Lee Author (Sharon) Johnson, Mr. Donald (Faye) Johnson, Mr. Harold Johnson, and Mr. Ransom Coleman; god-father, Mr. Eugene Arnold; two great-aunts; and a host of other relatives, and friends.
