Mr. Eugene Smith, Jr., affectionately known as “Junebug,” passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022 at Pine Pointe Hospice of Macon. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 15 at 11:00 A.M. in the Green Grove Baptist Church of Tennille with Reverend Jonathan Lewis officiating. Interment will be held in the Church Cemetery.
Mr. Smith is survived by his daughter, Alinda Stafford and husband Raymond of Sandersville; son, Preston Smith and wife Patrice of Tennille; grandchildren, Jacoby Smith of Tennille, Elijah Smith of Tennille, Tynisha Yorker and husband Broderick of Sandersville, and Raymond Stafford, Jr. of Sandersville; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
