Dr. Monica Haynes passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 25 at 11:00 A.M. in the Oak Grove Baptist Church of Sandersville with Reverend Cecil A. Moore, Jr. officiating. Interment will be held in the Church Cemetery.
Dr. Haynes is survived by her mother, Gennie Mae Haynes; sisters, Kimberly Haynes, Tabitha S. Parker and husband Dr. Michael, Pamela Johnson and husband Melvin, Victoria Taylor, and Deborah Wiley; grandmother, Lena Mae Martin; aunt, Dorothy Miles; godchildren, Kiara Collins, Jasmine Collins, and Tremaine Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
