WACO 100 Contest Rules
Radio Station WSNT, Inc., (The “Station”) and its subsidiaries and affiliated companies conducting any contest or giveaway on Station WSNT (FM), WSNT (AM) Sandersville, GA, our Facebook page, our web site or any of our internet TV channels.
- Contest Dates:
There are various opportunities to win small prizes throughout the year.
- How to Enter/Win:
For general contesting, listen for details on when and how to win designated prizes as announced by the on-air personalities or listed on our web site or our Facebook page.
- Eligibility and Limitations:
Each winner must be a U.S. resident, must have a legal driver’s license, and must each be at least 18 years old as of the date of the contest episode in which the prize is won, as determined by the Station. Current employees of Radio Station WSNT, Inc., their advertising agencies, employees of other radio and television stations in the Sandersville, GA, market, and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win. The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as “in-laws,” or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household, whether or not related.
- Prizes.
Prizes will be announced at the time of each contest opportunity. Values and types of prizes will vary. The Prize must be picked up in person by the winner listed on the prize sheet, and they must present valid photo identification acceptable to The Station in order to claim the prize, no prizes will be mailed. The Prize may be picked up during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 7:30am – 10:00am or 3:300pm – 6:00pm, excluding holidays). Prize must be claimed within 30 days of winning.
- Publicity; Use of Personal Information.
Each participant, and each winner grant Radio Station WSNT, Inc., permission to use their name, voice recording, photograph, picture and other likeness picture or other likeness in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this and any other Station contest or promotion for a period of two years without royalty, remuneration, or other compensation, and agrees to sign a publicity release in this regard prior to acceptance of the prize. [By participating in the Contest, where allowed by law, each winner agrees that Station may disclose a winner’s name and address to third parties and to use such information for marketing and other purposes.]
- Receipt of Prize and Release.
By accepting the prize, each winner waives any and all claims of liability against Radio Station WSNT, Inc., its officers, principals, directors, employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss which may occur arising directly or indirectly from the award of the prize or participation in the contest, including the use and operation of the prize. In order to receive a prize, participants must establish eligibility, identity, and sign a receipt of prize and an official waiver form provided by the Station. Contest sponsors may require a separate waiver and release.
- Taxes.
Any valuation of the prize stated in these rules is based on available information provided to the Station. The value of the prize awarded to each winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes related to the prize won and paying any expenses associated with any prizes which are not specifically provided for in these rules. Each winner must provide Station with valid identification and a valid social security number before any prize will be awarded. Any person winning over $600 in prizes from Radio Station WSNT, Inc., during a calendar year will be reported to the IRS and will receive an IRS Form 1099 with respect to such winnings.
- Conduct and Decisions.
By participating in the Contest, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of the Station and its personnel. Anyone who violates any rule, gains unfair advantage in participating in the Contest, or obtains status as a winner using fraudulent means will be disqualified. Unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, harassing or threatening behavior is prohibited. Radio Station WSNT, Inc., reserves the right to seek civil damages and/or criminal prosecution to the fullest extent permitted by law in connection with attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately circumvent, disrupt, damage, or undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest. Radio Station WSNT, Inc., will interpret these rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims, or ambiguities concerning the rules or the Contest and the decisions of the Station concerning such disputes shall be final. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of any prize. If the conduct or outcome of the Contest is affected by human error, any mechanical malfunctions or failures of any kind, intentional interference, or any event beyond the control of the Station, Radio Station WSNT, Inc., reserves the right to terminate this Contest or make such other decisions regarding the outcome as it deems appropriate, and such decisions shall be announced on air and/or through notification to each winner. The Station may waive or change any of these rules in its sole discretion including but not limited to contest dates, amount or value of the prizes, execution of the contest, or instructions on how to enter and win.
- Miscellaneous.
This Contest is void where prohibited. Odds of winning depend upon the number of participants. The Company may substitute prizes, amend the rules or discontinue the Contest at any time following broadcast on the Station of such changes.
