Mr. Raymond Moore entered into rest on Monday, December 17, 2018. Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Rufus Copeland officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.
He was born on May 14, 1957 in Sandersville, Georgia to the parentage of Mrs. Nellie Spencer Moore and the late Mr. Leroy Moore, Sr.
Mr. Moore was a 1975 graduate of Washington County High School. He was previously employed by Concord Fabrics and Horton Homes, Milledgeville, Georgia for many years.
Raymond had a very quiet demeanor. He loved being around family at large gatherings. He enjoyed watching old movies, listening to old school music and watching his favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Mr. Leroy Moore, Jr. and Mr. Douglas Wiggins.
His memory will always be cherished by his mother: Mrs. Nellie Moore, Deepstep, Georgia; six sisters: Ms. Deborah Moore, Mrs. Cynthia (Stevie) Williams, Ms. Kathy Moore, Milledgeville, Georgia, Ms. Joann Wiggins Jacob, Silver Springs, Maryland, Mrs. Dorothy (Bernard) Jackson, Augusta, Georgia, Mrs. Katherine (Russell) Williams, Hallendale, Florida; three brothers: Mr. Adrian Moore, Mr. Aubrey (Thertan) Moore, Mr. Anthony (Charnetta) Poole, Sandersville, Georgia; three aunts: Ms. Mary Yarbrough, Milledgeville, Georgia, Ms. Ruby Clark, College Park, Georgia, Ms. Readith Moore, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; devoted nephew: Mr. Damien Moore; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
