Mrs. Ann Jackson Jones, age 82, of Riddleville died on Sunday, December 23, 2018, in a local hospital following an extended illness.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 3, 2019, in the Riddleville Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones was a native of Johnson County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Taylor Lee Jackson and the late Mildred Louise Frost Jackson. She was the wife of the late Bobby Jones and the mother of the late Bob Jones. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a former elementary school teacher’s assistant and was retired from the State of Georgia Youth Development Center. She was a member of Riddleville Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher and was a girls in action leader.
Survivors are her daughter, Cheryl Jones of Riddleville: her son, Keith Jones of Columbia SC; two grandchildren, Molly Ann Jones and Winston Jones; two sisters, Sandra Smith of Tennille and Brenda Taylor of Hampton; two brothers, William R. Jackson of Davisboro and Russell Jackson of Guyton.
