
Mr. Charles Brantley, Jr., age 84, of Third Ave, Tennille, died Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Washington County Regional Medical Center. A graveside funeral service will held on Thursday, January 17th at 2:00 p.m. in Zeta Cemetery. Reverend Weston Williford will officiate.
Mr. Brantley was born in Oconee, the son of the late Charles Brantley Sr. and the late Willie Mae Salter Hartley. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and spent his working career as an appliance repair person. He was affiliated with the Church of God and had a passion for fishing.
Survivors are his wife Betty Elton Brantley of Tennille; daughters, Darlene Brantley and her husband Steve Taylor and Debra Nelson and her husband Leo all of Milledgeville; step-daughter, Dianne Turner of Eatonton; grandchildren, Kelly B. Snow and Samantha C. Lowery; great grandchildren, Abigale Snow, Katlin Snow, Devin Bloodworth, Nate Lowery and Blake Lowery; and brother, Joe Thompson of Eatonton.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville. Donations may be made to Brantley Support Fund, P.O. Box 1016, Sandersville, GA. 31082.
