L.M. Pierce Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Jake Norris of Tennille, Georgia on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Washington County Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at Union Hill Baptist Church in Tennille, Georgia. Interment in the Church Cemetery.
Mr. Norris leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Emma Norris, of Tennille, GA;
Four daughters: Cynthia Norris, Augusta, GA, Juanita (Joseph) Purvey, Cermoria Miller, and Tameiko Washington all of Tennille, GA
One son: Anthony Norris of Savannah, GA.
Two stepsons: James (Sylvia) Thompson of Wadley, GA and Kenneth Thompson of Augusta, GA.
One daughter he raised as his own, Gwendolyn Miller of Tennille, GA.
Five brothers: Jimmy Norris of Dublin, GA, Larry Norris, Savannah, GA, Tommy Norris of Harrison, GA, Will Johnson of Atlanta, GA and Johnny Bryant, Columbus, GA.
Two sisters: Lorine Reynolds of Tennille, GA and Beatrice Plummer of Dublin, GA.
