Imogene Keyton Chambers age 84, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 1st at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Crowe officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Chambers was a native of Johnson County and had made her home in Milledgeville. She was preceded in death by parents George W. and Florence Morris Keyton Mayo; brothers: Eula B. Keyton, Louis Keyton and G.B. Price and a sister Maggie Keyton. She was a member of First Christian Church in Toomsboro.

Survivors include her husband Douglas L. Chambers, Sr, her children: Robin Chambers Jackson (Terry) of Sandersville, Douglas L. Chambers, Jr, Chris Chambers (Gina), Jeff Chambers (Mitzi) and Bruce Chambers all of Milledgeville; a brother Pete Price of Wrightsville, 14 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148 or to Hospice Care Foundation 486 New St., Macon, GA 31201.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the residence, 2880 Vinson Hwy and also on Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
