WILLIE DANIELS, JR.

Mr. Willie Daniels, Jr. departed this life on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Fairview Park Hospital. Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 2, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Middle Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Calvin Hatcher officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

He was born on December 3, 1944 to the parentage of the late Mr. Willie Daniel, Sr. and the late Ms. Lourena Pinkston. From the age of twelve, he was raised by his aunt, Ms. Hattie Ruth Jordan, after the passing of his parents. He received his high school diploma from TJ Elder High School in 1964. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Navy. During his time in the Navy, he served two tours in Vietnam.

After retiring from the Navy, he worked for the United States Postal Service in Chicago, Illinois for five years. He returned to Sandersville, Georgia and worked at the Sandersville Police Department from 1978 to 2008. He retired as 1st Lieutenant. He enjoyed watching sports and traveling with his kids and grandkids to Florida, Texas and Chicago, Illinois.

Mr. Daniels leaves to cherish his memories a daughter: Ms. Llesa Bradley; two sons: Mr. Njiri K. Daniels, Mr. Willie (Tera) Daniels, Jr.; devoted friend: Ms. Linda Thomas; former wife: Mrs. Almeta Daniels; a host of other relatives and friends.
