On Monday, October 19, the Washington County Sheriff’s Department posted a message to social media requesting the public’s assistance in locating a man who fled a traffic stop.
Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran took to Facebook at 9:25 A.M. on Monday morning to ask for information on the whereabouts of Ronald Maddux.
According to Sheriff Cochran, deputies were searing in the area of Sparta Road and Jet Food Store #34.
It was stated that Maddux was wanted on a number of charges.
Following pursuit throughout the midday, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office once again posted to social media at 2:59 P.M. on Monday afternoon to alert the public that Sheriff’s Department deputies had apprehended Ronald Maddux.
“Thanks for all the assistance from the community in apprehending the subject,” said Sheriff Cochran. “One team, one goal.”
