Mr. Larry Gene Veal, age 68, of Tennille died on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Veal will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 21 at the Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville. Reverend Allen Heath will officiate. Pallbearers will be Matthew Yates, Michael Yates, John McDonald, Nathaniel Meadows, John Darity and Coby Wimpee.
Mr. Veal was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County Georgia, the son of the late Gene Alex Veal and the late Rosalind Brantley Veal. He was a retired mechanic with forty-five years of service BASF. He attended the Bethesda Christian Church.
Survivors are his children, Laura Veal Williford of Tennille, Amy Veal Meadows and her husband Kevin of Portland, Tennessee and Ryan Veal and his wife Megan of Franklin, Kentucky; grandchildren, Kelsey Alexis Meadows, Allison Grace Williford, Sydni Nicole Meadows, Heather Blake Williford, Nathaniel Ryan Meadows, Abigail Elaine Veal, and Madison Carol Veal; siblings, Joan V. McDonald and her husband Johnny of Oconee, West Veal of Tennille, Ceresa Parker of Gibson, and Alex Veal and his wife Barbara of Tennille.
Friends may pay their respects at May & Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:30 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.
