
Mable Lucille Weeks Attaway, 97, of Sandersville died on Sunday, January 3, 2021 following an extended illness. Mable was born October 5, 1923 in Bonifay, Florida to Kent and Francis Weeks. She is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lorrie Attaway Vaughn.
Mable was a retired personal caregiver and had lived in Sandersville over 40 years. She loved her family dearly. She was a good cook and a loving grandmother to everyone she met. Most of all, Mable was a devout Jehovah’s Witness who will be remembered by all who knew her for her great love of sharing the good news of God’s Kingdom with others.
She is survived by a son, Lloyd Attaway and his wife Joan of West Jefferson, North Carolina; daughter, Mollie Jean Abrams of Sandersville; grandson, David Harris and his wife Regina of Sandersville; granddaughter, Rebekah Attaway of Ashville, North Carolina and a great-granddaughter, Mattie Harris of Enterprise, Alabama.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, an in-person visitation will not be held. Memorial services will be held via Zoom video conference on Friday, January 8 at 7:00 P.M.
