
Mrs. Emma Jean Mack departed this life on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia. Graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Sandersville City Cemetery. Reverend Robert Lee Smith will officiate.
Emma was born on July 8, 1950 to the parentage of the late Willie Lee and Susie Mae (Roberson) Wilcher in Washington County. She graduated from T.J. Elder High School, Class of 1968. Emma was a hard worker and caring person with the ‘strength of Samson.’ She was employed at Zorlu Manufacturing Company in Sandersville, Georgia. She was a faithful member of the Second Mineral Springs Baptist Church in Mitchell, Georgia. Emma was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Lee Wilcher and Susie Mae (Roberson) Wilcher; husband, Isadore Mack, Jr.; and sister, Betty Jean Wilcher.
Emma leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Peggy Smith (Greg Smith); granddaughter, Samoria Smith; bonus children, sons, Ronnie Mack, Willie Mack, Reggie Mack, Gregory (Rose) Mack, Stan (Mary) Mack all of Sandersville, Georgia, and Tracy (Kim) Mack of Milledgeville, Georgia; daughters, Drena Marion and Terri (Ivey) Veal of Sandersville, Georgia and Carolyn (Victor) Kelsey of Milledgeville, Georgia; sisters, Bernice Miller, Louise Morris, Mabel (James) Hood of Sandersville, Georgia, Ida Mae (Donnie) Wiley of Warthen, Georgia, Brenda (Cedric) Braddy of Augusta, Gerogia, and Yvette Lawson of Florida; sisters-in-law, Shirley (Bobby) Harris of Milledgeville, Georgia and Margaret Mack of New York; nieces, Yolanda Wilcher Cuyler, Ayauna (Reggie) Spikes, Latanya Tanner, Calesha (Frank) Griner, Shenerika (Shawn) Hammond, Ebony (Bennie) Poole, Angela Spikes, and Briana Wiley; nephews, Vincent Duggan and Cedric Braddy Jr.; aunt, Ola Ruth Ivey; a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins; and devoted friend, Annie Lou Jackson.
