Mr. Albert Edward Baugus, age 81, of Tennille, died on Sunday, January 17, 2021 in the Washington County Extended Care Facility. A memorial service for Mr. Baugus will be held on Saturday, January 23 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sandersville Community Church. Pastor Scott Ferguson will officiate.
Mr. Baugus was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Jacob C. Baugus and the late Bertie Mae Edwards Baugus. He was the husband of the late Idalene Carey Baugus. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Carlton E. Baugus and Henry Eugene Baugus. Mr. Baugus was a retired employee of Royal Manufacturing Company. He was a member of Tennille Baptist Church and a United States Army Veteran.
Survivors are his sister, Martha Nell Baugus Tanner of Sandersville; and nieces, Barbara Tucker and Nancy Garner Bryant both of Sandersville.
