Mrs. Christine Landers Jordan passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at the Washington County Regional Medical Center. Graveside funeral services were held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Camp Spring Baptist Church with Reverend Darrell Mitchell officiating.
Mrs. Jordan was born on January 16, 1935 in Sandersville, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Willie Landers and the late Mrs. Ella Mae Landers. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Camp Spring Baptist Church. She attended the Sandersville Technical College to receive her GED, which was one of her proudest achievements. She retired after forty six (46) years of being a caretaker for Mrs. Annie Jones and her family. In 1951, she was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Valine Jordan. Her favorite things to do were read the Bible, go to church, cook her dinners, bake cakes, and talk to everyone she came in contact with in the grocery store.
Mrs. Jordan leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Ms. Ella Pearl Hilson, Sandersville, Georgia; four sons, Mr. Sammie Lee Jordan, Mr. Clifford “Chip” Jordan, Sandersville, Georgia; Mr. Ricky (Kristen) Jordan, Waldorf, Maryland, Mr. Charlie Brown, Augusta, Georgia; one sister, Mrs. Lena Martin, Sandersville, Georgia; two devoted granddaughters, Ms. Tracey Jordan, Ms. Karlecia Williams, Sandersville, Georgia; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Cora Mae Jordan, Sandersville, Georgia; devoted god-son, Mr. Walter Jordan, Sandersville, Georgia; devoted friends, Mrs. Annie Jones, Mrs. Joyce Dixon, Riddleville, Georgia; devoted god-children, Sheriff Joel Cochran, Ms. Nakesha Poole, Mr. Greg Jordan; riding partner, Mr. Eugen Thomas; fourteen (14) grandchildren; twenty two (22) great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
