Danny Wayne Coulter, age 58, of Sandersville died on Thursday, February 11, 2021 in an Augusta hospital following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 15 at the Temple of Praise Church in Sandersville. Pastor Wallace Smith and Pastor Quint Shepherd will officiate. Burial will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Monday in the Johnson United Methodist Church Cemetery near Watkinsville. Pallbearers will be Raymond Pounds, Zack Scott, Cody Weaver, Benjy Hodges, David Vinning, Trey Burgamy, William Horton, CMS Robert Byrd, Tori Dougherty, and Jay Williford. Honorary pallbearers will be Cason Brown, Connor Brown, Cale Brown, Blake Davis, Zack Davis, and Andrew Davis.

Mr. Coulter was a native of Monroe County, Georgia, the son of the late Roy Thomas Coulter and the late Joann Ward Coulter. He was preceded in death by his sons, Roy Thomas Coulter and Danny Wayne Coulter, Jr., brother, Franklin Coulter, and sisters, Sandra Arthur and Kathy Wade. He was a retired truck driver. Mr. Coulter was an ordained minister in the Congregational Holiness Church and a Chaplain for Steel Horsemen. He was a member of Temple of Praise Church in Sandersville.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Elizabeth (Beth) Coulter of Sandersville; son, Richie Wayne Coulter and wife Jordan of Deepstep; daughter, Angel Nicole Franklin and husband Jamey of Cornelia; brother, Tommy Coulter and wife Elisa of Colbert; sister, Glenda C. Buff of Monroe; grandchildren, Clint David (Annie), Cody Weaver, Chase Franklin, Emma Franklin, and Lillie Franklin; and two-great-grandchildren, Ryleigh David and Grayson David.

The family will greet friends on Sunday, February 14 from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.

The family suggest in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Temple of Praise, 204 Miamola Avenue, Sandersville, Georgia 31082.
