Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran says investigators are following all leads to locate a missing Ridge Road Primary School teacher.

Forty-six-year-old Tina Prince, a first-grade teacher at Ridge Road Primary School, was reported missing by her family on Saturday, May 29.

According to Sheriff Cochran, Prince was last seen by her family at Puebla’s Mexican Restaurant in downtown Sandersville at approximately 8 p.m. on Friday, May 28.

Prince received a telephone call while with her family; following that call, Prince left her family. Her vehicle, a blue 2018 Kia Forte, was discovered in the Walmart parking lot early Sunday morning. Prince was not located with the vehicle.

Sheriff Cochran stated that Prince’s disappearance is very unusual.

“Her family is very concerned, as they should be,” said Sheriff Cochran, explaining that it’s uncharacteristic of her [Prince] not to have contact with her family and friends.

As previously reported by WACO 100, several ground searches took place on Monday, May 31 in several locations.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was called in to assist with the investigation.

“We’ll continue searching until we find her,” said Sheriff Cochran.

Tina Prince, 46, is described as a 5’1” tall, white female, weighing approximately 140 pounds with green eyes and burgundy hair.

Anyone with any information concerning Prince’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact Investigator Trey Burgamy with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office by calling 478-553-0911.
