VIRGIN M. KITCHENS

Mrs. Virgin Mary Kitchens departed this life on Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Washington County Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Kitchens was born as the first of seven children on January 18, 1936 to the parentage of the late Mr. Robert Flemming and the late Mrs. Rosa Lee Allen Flemming. At an early age, she joined the Mt. Olive Baptist Church and attended the Mt. Olive School. In 1957, she married the late Mr. Rudolph Kitchens. This union was blessed with five children. Mrs. Kitchens was well known for her cooking. She enjoyed growing flowers, watching WWE Wrestling, and caring for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ms. Willie Ruth Jackson and Ms. Maggie Daniels; and three brothers, MR. Robert Flemming, Jr., Mr. Jimmy Lee Flemming, and Mr. Melvin Flemming.

Mrs. Kitchens leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Mrs. Mary (James) Kitchens Hunt; two sons, Mr. Jerry Kitchens nand Mr. Tony Bryant; three grandchildren, Mr. Monterrious Kitchens, Mr. Travis (Jazmin) Kitchens, and Ms. Erica Hill; two great-grandchildren, Aston Kitchens and Gabeial Taylor; one brother, Mr. Harvey Flemming; sister-in-law, Mrs. Milas Flemming; brother-in-law, Mr. Andrew Jackson, Sr.; nieces and nephews, Mrs. Mary Ann Cummings, Ms. Tracey Flemming, Mr. Eric Flemming, Mr. Daryl Flemming, Ms. Angela Flemming, Mr. Leon Flemming, Ms. Rose Jackson, Ms. Angela Jackson, Mr. Andrew (Marilena) Jackson, Mrs. Laura (Randy) Tucker, Ms. Tracie White Hill, and Ms. Myrtice Hagans; devoted nieces, Ms. Gloryious Riddle, Ms. Judy Carroll, and Ms. Tony Carroll; devoted cousin, Mrs. Dorothy Ruth Hatcher; devoted friends, Ms. Eva Smith, Ms. Ealene Braddy, and Ms. Malenda Haynes; and a host of other relatives and friends.
