Mrs. Brenda Robinson Prosser, age 79, of Sandersville passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Augusta University Hospital. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 29th at 3:00 P.M. in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Sisters Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Scott Ferguson and Reverend Danny Thomas will officiate. Pallbearers will be Gabriel Green, Chris Lanthrip, Kevin Lindsey, Robbie Lindsey, Lonnie Sanders, and Junior Yates.
Brenda was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late Lonnie Robinson and the late Ammie Johnson Robinson. She was a 1970 graduate from the Washington County High School. Mrs. Robinson worked as a homemaker and was employed later in life as a Secretary at the Stone Container Chip Mill. Brenda was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. She loved flowers, her family, and caring for children. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel J. Prosser; son, Heath Hannah; granddaughter, Destani Mann; great-granddaughter, Destani Anne Lindsey; and brothers, Billy Johnson and Frank Cooper.
Survivors include her children, Brad Hannah and Tara Hannah and her fiancé Gabriel Green; grandchildren, Elliott Hannah, Trenton Hannah, Dallas Hannah, Jimmy Hannah Jr., Brianna Redding, and Ivan Hannah; great-grandchildren, E.J. Hannah, Braylan Mann, Will Redding, and Kenzie Hannah; and siblings, J.W. Cooper, Bertha Sanders, Lonnell Phillips, and Mike Robinson.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 28 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the May and Smith Funeral Home.
