Mr. Glenn Tillman passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at his residence. Graveside funeral services were held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jonathan Lewis officiating.
Glenn was born on September 21, 1960 in Sandersville to the parentage of the late Mr. James A. Tillman and the late Mrs. Vera Bloodsaw Tillman. He was preceded in death by a brother, Mr. Gregory Tillman. Mr. Tillman was a 1978 graduate of the Washington County High School. Glenn was employed by Anglo American and Kamin Kaolin Plant for several years. He also worked as a contract laborer for CVB Industrial Contracting. Mr. Tillman joined the Green Grove Baptist Church at an early age and served as a member of the choir for over thirty (30) years. His favorite songs to sing were “Cooling Water,” “Mary Did You Know,” and “He Touched Me.” Glenn married the former Ms. Rotenia Wadley on May 11, 1990. Mr. Tillman will always be remembered as a hardworking, fun loving, happy, and smiling person. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Tillman, Sandersville; daughter, Ms. Shakia Tillman (Charles Culver), Sandersville; son, Mr. Andriquez Cortez Dent, Sandersville; grandchildren, Alexis Dent, Ashton Walker, Austin Walker, Taylen Reynolds, and Christian “Toot” Culver; “bonus” grandchild, Tarazja Walker, Sandersville; brother, Mr. James (Lily) Bloodsaw, Sandersville; sisters, Ms. Sharon Tillman, Sandersville, Mrs. Cynthia (Larry) Cato, Sandersville, and Mrs. Cornelia Michelle (Derrick) Crawford, Griffin; aunts, Mrs. Elnora Bloodsaw and Mrs. Eva Mae Tillman, both of Sandersville; uncles, Mr. Charles (Betty) Bloodsaw, Mr. Curtis (Mary) Tillman, Mr. Larry Bloodsaw, and Mr. George (Helen) James, all of Sandersville; sisters-in-law, Ms. Linda Wadley, Sandersville, Mrs. Brenda Wadley, Sandersville, and Mrs. Edna Jackson, Tennille; brothers-in-law, Mr. Curtis (Willie Mae) Wadley, Mr. Willie Floyd Wadley, Mr. Vincent (Barbara) Wadley, and Mr. Ricky (Lesa) Poole, all of Sandersville; devoted friend, Mr. Edward (Alvie) Barlow, Sandersville; “bonus” daughters, Ms. Diamond Mearidy, Ms. Krystal Tucker, and Ms. Chiquita Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
