Washington County’s Trick or Treat is Saturday, October 30

For the second consecutive year, the Washington County Chamber of Commerce is planning a safe and fun Halloween event for the community.

On Saturday, October 30 from 10 a.m. until 2p.m. (or until all candy has been distributed), youth in Washington County can visit participating businesses and organizations to collect sweet treats for the Washington County Trick or Treat event.

Candy will be placed in grab and go pickup locations at the participating businesses and organizations in order to create a safe environment for trick or treaters.

This year’s participating locations include: Community Health Care Systems in Sandersville, Children’s Healthcare, Washington County Regional Medical Center, Washington County Family Practice, Wellness Works Health & Fitness Center, Physicians Specialty Clinic, Sandersville Drug Co., Hosanna Transport, The Brown House, Queensborough National Bank & Trust, The Genealogy Museum, Sandersville Police Department, Friends of Hamburg (located in the Square Gazebo), Citizen’s Bank of the South (in the Welcome Center), Trojan Battery (in Thiele Park), Geo’s Quarters, Glow Boutique and Salon, Ideal Beauty Salon, Waffle House, Fox’s Pizza, The Sunshine House, The Lodge Meat Market, Sandersville Flower Shop, Washington County Health Department, Cricket Wireless, Dollar General (in Kaolin Plaza), Merle Norman, Helton Electric (in Kaolin Plaza), Sandersville First Church of the Nazarene, Georgia Military College, Washington County Sheriff’s Department (located at GMC), Mel Daniel Heating & Air (located at GMC), Department of Family and Children’s Services, The Ditzy Gypsy, Tennille Ice Cream Shop, Market on Central, Deep River Outfitters, The Shoppes at Station 13, Trackside Pub & Deli, Smashed, and Tennille Community Health Care Systems.

Because Halloween falls on a Sunday this year, the Washington County Halloween trick-or-treating event will take place Saturday, October 30 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
