Mrs. Karen Outlaw, affectioately known as “Ann,” passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022, at the Washington County Regional Medical Center. Graveside funeral services were held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. in the Harrison Cemetery with Senior Pastor Patrick Wilson, Sr. officiating.

Mrs. Outlaw was born on February 29, 1956, to the parentage of the later Mr. James T. Outlaw and the late Mrs. Laurette Davis Outlaw. She was educated in the Public Schools of Washington County Public and was a member of the graduating Class of 1975. Ann was employed by Wal-Mart for sixteen (16) years. Ann never met a stranger and was always ready to greet others with a smile. Mrs. Outlaw deeply loved her family. She was fiercely independent, and even after losing her eyesight, would remain determined to be self-sufficient put others first. In her lifetime, Ann wore many titles as a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. In 2008, Mrs. Outlaw gave her life to Christ, earning yet another title – saved. She attended New Birth Christian Ministries until her health failed. Ann was preceded in death by two brothers, Mr. Addison Outlaw and Mr. James Davis.

Ms. Outlaw leaves cherished memories to her sons, Mr. Johnny Outlaw, Mr. Jessie Miller III, and Mr. Andreal Tucker; grandchildren, Destini Reynolds, Ariah Cannida, Kia Yorker, and Henry Outlaw, Jr.; sister, Ms. Lynette Davis; brothers, Mr. Henry (Lorriane) Outlaw, Sr. and Mr. Joseph (Juanita) Purvey; devoted family and friends, Ms. Mary Miller, Ms. Sandra Bryant, Ms. Latina Miller, Ms. Bernestine Wilson, Ms. Patricia Ryder, Ms. Shelia McBride, Ms. Cierra James, Ms. Inez Ellison, Ms. Faye Andrews, Ms. Angela Hall, Ms. Victoria Freeman, Ms. Myrtle Miller, and Ms. Teresa Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
