Four Arrested Following Highway 242/Parsons Crossing Shooting

A July 14 shooting in the area of Highway 242/Parsons Crossing in Washington County left one male with non-life-threatening injuries.

Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies and investigators arrested four individuals on July 22 for alleged connections to the incident.

Andreya Harris, age 18, of Tennille has been charged with discharging a firearm from the roadway and aggravated Assault.

Marquis Knight, age 20, and Jabari Thomas, age 22, both of Sandersville were charged with possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime and aggravated assault.

Alecia May Taylor, age 53, of Tennille was charged with three counts of making false statements.

“As this investigation continues, additional charges are forthcoming,” said Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran.
