Reverend Lamar Brantley and Reverend Myron Wise will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service at the Church.
Mrs. Fox was born on March 12, 1928, in Coon Rapids, Iowa, to the late Albert Green and the late Beulah Green Sypolt. She proudly invited Jesus into her heart as a teenager and thereafter dedicated her life to serving the Lord. Peggy met and married a sailor, Don Fox, following the conclusion of World War II in 1946 and would relocate to Florida to raise their family. Mrs. Fox held a great passion for Ladies’ Bible studies and enjoyed serving on mission trips that traveled around the world. She was a member of the Princeton Church of the Nazarene in Florida since 1967 and worked as a vital representative of the Good Shepherd Church of the Nazarene in Tennille for the past nine years. Peggy was known as a prayer warrior and always worked to support her pastors. Mrs. Fox was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Fox; sister, Rae Hoerner; and brother, James Green.
She is survived by her children, Toni Hawkins of Orlando, Florida, Vicki Brantley and husband Lamar of Sandersville, Jeffrey Fox of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Rebecca Denham of Homestead, Florida; grandchildren, Jill, Janet, Jamie, Joy, Amy, Abby, Adam, Anna, Jeremiah, Jessica, and Jacob; 24 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Jeannine Stanford of Boynton Beach, Florida and Sharon Hiltbrunner of Clifton Park, New York.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Good Shepherd Church of the Nazarene, 316 East South Central Avenue, Tennille, Georgia 31089 or to Gideon’s International at gideons.org/donate.
